Be a friend. Be a neighbor. Be a helper.

Louisville is full of loving, compassionate and kind people. During this time of social distancing, many elder and high risk members of your community are going to need assistance getting critical supplies while refraining from being in large public spaces.

It is our hope to match those of you who are under 60, at low-risk for COVID-19 and healthy with elder members and neighbors in your community who are high-risk so that you can love them through this.  You can help your neighbors by picking up groceries or prescriptions, delivering a homemade meal, a book from the library or simple be intentional about checking in every couple of days.

ABOUT

We are preparing for the potential of a community outbreak of COVID-19 in Louisville by identifying healthy young adults (whose risk factors are low) who are willing to be paired with an elder or an individual who is at high risk in our community in order to coordinate the delivery of essential supplies if/when needed. We also want to encourage regular check-ins with these elders by phone or other electronic means.

This matching program is being organized by private citizens for the benifit of those in our community. For any additional questions, please contact Erin Hinson at (502) 791-7930.
